For the new Impreza, Subaru aimed to deliver absolute quality without
sacrificing the legendary abilities for which it has become famous
the world over. So, the phenomenal stability provided by the combination
of the Subaru Boxer engine and Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive is still
very much in evidence. But it’s now built into a contemporary
and highly versatile package. With nine models available, the new
Impreza offers three engines, each more economical and environmentally-friendly
than its predecessor. With prices starting at just £12,995
on the road and higher levels of specification across the board,
it's even better value.
Value-packed and stylish, the 1.5R has drivability, reliability
and build quality that set it apart from others in its class. The
new model features all-new high quality materials throughout and
offers enhanced passenger access with extra-wide opening rear doors.
Air conditioning, ABS, electric windows and mirrors and a new high
quality CD/Radio compatible with MP3 and WMA offer a taste of the
outstanding specification. Plus, for the first time, it’s
available with both manual and automatic transmission.
Practicality, versatility and strong performance are key to the
2.0R. The 150PS engine provides reassuringly rapid acceleration
to keep you out of trouble and Subaru's legendary Vehicle Dynamics
Control prevents loss of traction in extreme conditions. It’s
stylish too, with 16" Alloy wheels and colour-coded door handles
and mirrors.
At the top of the normally aspirated range sits the 2.0RX model.
Featuring the same 2.0 engine as the R model, it offers a higher
degree of refinement in an even more luxurious package. Sports seats,
a push-button engine start and 10 speaker DVD Sat Nav System compliment
a range of subtle body-enhancements to the exterior, rear privacy
glass and 17" Alloy Wheels. With prices from £17,995
On The Road, it's great value, too.
Available in very limited numbers, the new 2.5 WRX keeps all the
virtues of its predecessor as well as the ride and handling with
which the badge is synonymous and marries it to a much more sophisticated
package. With 230 PS and over 320 Nm of torque, delivered at just
2800 RPM, the 2.5 WRX costs £20,095 On The Road.
