Vincent Series C Rapide Description.
1952 Vincent Series C Rapide. We have been lucky enough to obtain this truly lovely example of the Vincent Rapide, this Series C Model started production in 1948 and ran through to 1954 when the series D appeared. The Series C differed from the Series B primarily in its front suspension. By this time Vincent believed that the Brampton fork had outlived its value, but they had resisted adopting the increasingly common telescopic forks, feeling that they were not sufficiently rigid in torsion, did not offer enough adjustment, and did not handle well when ridden hard. The replacement was a new Vincent design called the Girdraulic fork. This Bike comes with stacks of paperwork including, original riders handbook and green RF60 registration book. Certificate of authenticity, history of the bike, numerous bills/receipts and a parts catalogue. If you are after a Rapide that ticks all the boxes regarding workmanship and paperwork then this could well be the bike for you. Please call us at Robinsons of Rochdale on 01706 716650 for more information or feel free to whatsapp us for more photos/videos on 01706716650. Part exchange a pleasure and anything taken of any value.
