1977 S Honda GL 1000 Goldwing with 2877 miles yes 2877 miles unrestored example.. A motorcycle that changed the world of touring, Manufactured from 1974 to 1979 in its simplest and purest one litre format it had four liquid cooled and horizontally opposed cylinders producing ample power which was transmitted to the rear wheel via a maintenance free shaft drive. The Honda Gold Wing took the biking world by storm when it was announced in 1974. Here was a 998cc flat four, water-cooled touring machine of exquisite quality, which went on to become a bi-word for luxury touring and most of all, reliability. The Gold Wing (albeit now in 1800cc flat six configuration) continues to head up the Honda motorcycle range 47 years later. This is a one owner machine comes with the original owners manual and service book and even bill of sale. The is totally as it left the shop back in 1977 does have some very light patina.
